About Us
Jennifer Roberts is the founder of “A Doll’s Life - by Jennifer”. She has been a doll lover her
whole life. She had several ‘American Girl’ dolls as a child and has a growing collection of
porcelain dolls. She started sewing when she was eight years old through Girl Scouts.
Jennifer’s mother increased her interest in sewing by sewing costumes and clothing for her and
her eight siblings. When Jennifer was in high school her mother helped her sew a prom dress
and Jennifer’s love for sewing grew. Eventually Jennifer got married and started having
children. Her first two were boys. She sewed play clothes for them. Then in 2003 she had a
little girl and now had a better excuse to have dolls in the house again. While searching for
doll clothes for her daughter’s new dolls she was unable to find anything where the quality
matched the price. Her love for sewing came back to her and she started to sew doll clothes
for her daughter’s dolls. Then in 2006 Jennifer had another daughter and was now unable to work
outside the home. She decided that she would open her own business and share her talent with
the world so she could stay home with her five wonderful children. She has already started to
expand and offers high quality doll shoes from a manufacturer. We hope that as you browse
through our products you see all the love and care she puts into her work; and her attention
to detail.
Any Doll
We can make most of our outfits to fit any doll you may have. All we need are the doll’s measurements. We need the
height of the doll, the measurement around the doll’s waist, the measurement around the doll’s upper arm, and the
measurement around the doll’s upper thigh.

Picture Matching
We offer another great option with our Custom Made clothing. If the special girl you are
shopping for has a favorite outfit or you have a favorite outfit, send us a picture of it
(front, back and any special details) and we will try our best to make a matching outfit.
Keep in mind that certain patterns, fabrics and colors can be hard to find. If we are unable
to find an exact match we will contact you and let you know what we have found.
Favorite Fabric
Another option that you have is “Favorite Fabric”. If you have or have found a fabric that
you love let us know. Send us a description of what you want made with it, and we will let you
know how much of the fabric we need you to send to us. If you have any questions about this

Embroidery and Personalizing
We can embroider a design on most of our outfits for you. A small design is $0.50 and a large design is $0.75.
We can also personalize most of our outfits with a name or short phrase. Ten letters or less is $0.75; Up to
